Day 161 Ecuador- Indoors kind of day

Monday, June 20, 2016

Well I was hoping for a break in the rain but today isn’t that day. From what I have been told this amount of rain at this time of the year is unusual. The good thing about the rain is that it fills the Yanuncay river up and I have an excellent view through my window of it rapidly flowing by.

I heard back from GringoTree and they like my article idea, so I have a June 27th deadline to write a brief article on mind-body techniques to help deal with moving to a foreign country. I’m excited to do this. From writing in my blog I’ve discovered how much I enjoy the challenge of getting thoughts in my head into some readable form on to “paper”. Of course those thoughts can be frightening at times, but at least I don’t have to carry them alone. Thank’s for reading 😉

The sun broke out for a few minutes. It fooled me though because by the time Heidi and I got our coats on and took Monte out of the building to go on a walk, it started raining again. Obviously today is meant for sweat pants, hot coffee, and a good movie.

Chau.
